Website terms
Last updated: 21 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms cover use of the Steady Work website, its free guides, calculator and enquiry and booking facilities. Please read them before using those facilities. If you do not agree, do not use them. Questions can be raised by calling 07782 224009.
These are website-use terms, not a contract for paid website design, local search, advertising, maintenance or CRM services. Any paid work requires a separate agreement setting out the scope, price, payment arrangements, responsibilities, ownership, cancellation and other applicable terms.
2. Information on the website
Website information and guides provide general business information, not legal, financial, tax or other regulated professional advice. Check that information is relevant to your circumstances before acting on it. Third-party platforms and their requirements can change.
We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but do not guarantee that every page is complete, current or free from error. Please tell us if you spot a mistake. This does not limit obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Free guides and requests
Provide accurate contact details when requesting a guide. Requests are sent through the connected workflow for the guide or guides selected. Delivery depends on the relevant email and third-party services; submitting a request does not guarantee immediate delivery or inbox placement. If a requested guide does not arrive, contact Steady Work.
A guide request is not an order for paid services. Occasional marketing tips are a separate, optional choice on the request form. How request information is handled is explained in our privacy policy.
4. Calculator results and follow-up
The dog grooming calculator uses your inputs to illustrate unbooked capacity, customer value or full-diary scenarios. It is not a forecast, a valuation of your business or a promise of sales, profit, bookings or return on investment. Figures may be rounded and scenarios rely on the assumptions shown with the results.
Capacity values are not profit. They do not account for all costs, taxes, holidays, cancellations, seasonal demand or the practical ability to fill available appointments. Price-rise and customer-turnover examples are illustrative, not recommendations or predictions. You remain responsible for decisions about your business.
You can use the free preview without supplying contact details. To unlock the full breakdown, you must provide the requested details and accept that Steady Work will contact you by phone or email about your business and those results. This does not subscribe you to an unrelated marketing list. You can subsequently ask us to stop contact, and your data protection rights remain unchanged.
5. Enquiries and booking a call
Submitting an enquiry or choosing an appointment does not create a contract for paid work, reserve a territory or commit either party to proceed. Appointment availability is shown by the booking provider, and a booking is subject to its confirmation.
If you need to cancel or rearrange, use the options in your booking correspondence where available or contact Steady Work. Any area exclusivity, service availability or delivery timetable must be expressly agreed for the relevant paid service; it is not created by a website statement or form submission.
6. Prices and results
Published prices and service descriptions help explain the offer but are not a personalised quotation. The price, applicable taxes, optional extras and scope for your project must be confirmed before you commit to paid work. Changes to website pricing do not retrospectively change an existing agreed contract.
Case studies describe individual projects, not typical or guaranteed outcomes. Search positions, enquiries and conversion rates vary with the business, location, competition, time period and other factors. Pipeline estimates are not collected revenue. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, sales or that a website will pay for itself.
7. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may read, share links to and download materials made available for your own personal or internal business use. Unless permission or a legal exception applies, do not resell our guides, republish substantial portions of our content or claim our work as your own. Rights in third-party photographs, logos, reviews and other material remain with their respective owners.
Do not submit unlawful content, impersonate someone, send spam, scrape personal information, interfere with the website, bypass security or attempt unauthorised access. Do not introduce malicious software or use forms to harass others. Access may be restricted where reasonably needed to protect the website or its users.
8. Third-party websites and services
The website links to other websites and uses third-party services, including guide-request workflows and a booking calendar. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. A link is not a guarantee of their content, availability or suitability. Check their terms before using them.
9. Availability
The website and free facilities may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn, including for maintenance or security. Continuous access and error-free operation are not guaranteed. This does not alter commitments made under a separate paid-service agreement or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Responsibility and your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes your statutory rights, including applicable consumer rights.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for business outcomes solely because you used general website information or an illustrative calculator result. Responsibility for a paid service is governed by its separate agreement and applicable law, not replaced by these website disclaimers.
11. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains the information collected through this website, why it is used, follow-up contact, service providers and your rights. These terms do not override those rights or give blanket consent to marketing or non-essential cookies.
12. Changes, disputes and governing law
Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date and apply to future website use. They do not retrospectively amend a paid-service contract. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law permits.
Please contact Steady Work first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where the law provides them.
