Wedding saxophonist · Worcestershire

Starting from scratch. Three enquiries. Four weeks.

A Worcestershire wedding and events saxophonist had no website, so couples found agencies and directories instead of him. We built a site around the searches they actually make, with service, area and venue pages backed by real gigs, alongside a Google Business Profile.

Three enquiries in the first four weeks, starting the business and its website from scratch in September 2026. Enquiries are not confirmed bookings. These are early results, not a ranking promise.

The short version

Where they started

No website. Bookings came from word of mouth, Instagram and repeat venues. Couples searching for a wedding saxophonist in Worcestershire found agencies and directories instead, because Sam had nothing for Google to show.

What we did

Keyword research first, then service pages for weddings, parties, and pubs and restaurants. Area pages cover Worcestershire, Bromsgrove and Droitwich, and Birmingham and Solihull. Venue pages draw on real gigs, photos and video. A Google Business Profile, a short enquiry form and a content plan completed the setup.

What happened next

The business and website started from scratch in September 2026. Three enquiries came in during the first four weeks. We only build area pages where there is genuine work and useful content to put on them.

One line. One clear action.

Sam plays weddings, private parties, pubs and restaurants across the West Midlands and beyond. He plays solo over high-quality backing tracks or live alongside a DJ, moving around the room rather than staying on a stage.

The homepage leads with a performance photo and one line: Live saxophone, played for the room. Check your date gives couples and event organisers a clear next step.

Research before design

Pages were built around searches such as saxophonist for weddings, not around how a musician describes himself. Weddings, parties, and pubs and restaurants each have a service page.

Area pages only cover places where there is genuine work and useful content to put on them, rather than one page per town for the sake of it.

Real gigs do the convincing

The Recent gigs strip and Where I've played venue list show the work rather than describe it. Venue pages for real performances, including Stratton Court Barn and the Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford, connect specific venues to real photos and video.

Reviews from the people in the room

Reviews from couples sit alongside the gig photos and venue list, helping visitors see what a performance was like. These reviews describe Sam's music, not Steady Work's service.

A date check without the friction

A plain How a booking works section answers the practical questions about set-up, timings and what is needed before anyone has to ask. The short enquiry form asks for the date, venue and event type.

Made for phones

Couples often plan on their phones, so the mobile site keeps the date check one tap away while they look through the performances and practical details.

★★★★★ Left on Google

I cannot believe how professional Harry's website for myself turned out to be! I am a saxophone player and was in desperate need for a website, since going live I have seen an instant attraction in clients and feel extremely confident when asked about my website. 10/10 would recommend!!
