Paid for itself in 5 days. Page one in 3 weeks.

Mr BoTangles moved from Sunbury to Whitton and lost about half of her regulars in the move, with no website to replace the word of mouth. We built a calm, mobile-first site around her one-to-one approach, with 129 local service and area pages and automated review requests.

The site launched in September 2026. The paid-for-itself message arrived five days after launch, and the eight new regulars and seven new reviews cover the first three weeks, as reported by Debbie. Search figures cover the first 20 days on Google, from the supplied Search Console export: 49 clicks from 314 impressions, a 15.6% click-through rate, page one for “dog groomers near me” at an average position of 5.75, and 26 of 39 search terms averaging a top-10 position with 10 in the top three, on a brand-new domain with no history and no backlinks. Only one search term in the data includes her business name. Clicks are not unique visitors, enquiries or bookings, and average positions are observations, not guarantees.

The short version

Where they started

Mr BoTangles is Debbie's one-to-one grooming salon in Whitton: one dog at a time, no cages, no cabinet dryers, no rushing. That makes her a natural fit for nervous and rescue dogs. After moving from Sunbury she lost about half of her client base, and with no website, just a booking page, new local dog owners had no way to find her or see why she's different.

What we did

A website built around her difference, with a dedicated page for nervous and rescue dogs. 129 pages of local coverage: 7 service pages, 13 area pages and 91 service-in-town pages, plus 9 familiar faces pages featuring real client dogs by name and town. Every Book now button goes straight to her existing booking system, so nothing changed for her regulars, with Google Business Profile management and automated review requests alongside.

What happened next

Live on a Thursday. By the following Tuesday, Debbie messaged: “Think I've got a couple more since I saw you and another new customer! Pretty sure the website has already paid for itself.” Eight new regulars and seven new Google reviews followed in the first three weeks, and the brand-new domain reached page one for “dog groomers near me”. 96% of search clicks in the first three weeks came from phones, so the sticky Book now bar does the heavy lifting on mobile.

Harry built my website and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. It's only been live for a week and it has already paid for itself, with lots of new customers coming through!

The website is finished to a really high standard, and Harry was so easy to work with. He listened to exactly what I wanted, made some great suggestions along the way and really brought my ideas to life.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harry — fantastic service from start to finish!
